Blacksmiths Fiveways, Brighton and Hove, Sussex

Fiveways in Brighton is fotunate enough to have several Blacksmiths working amongst us. Once, a dying art and trade, recent decades have seen a rejection of the homogonised alternatives and peoples desire to express their own styles, tastes and individuality through various forms and not just traditional Blacksmiths output. Metal in general has become a much sought after commodity for artists, recycling pieces previously 'thrown away' and producing fine art pieces, garden sculptures, lamps, lights, and the more traditional blacksmiths work of front wall inserts, hand rails, iron door mats etc. There are also Blacksmiths here in the wider Brighton and Sussex communities, as well as Fiveways.
