Blakers Park Picnic 2010

The Blakers Park Picnic, on Saturday 19th June 2010, has become an annual feature in the local diary when residents get together in a local park to enjoy the summer with traditional stalls and local teenage bands play live music. It's a great way to get to know neighbours and locals alike so go along for a family day out and enjoy!

In addition to the live music there will be face-painter, bouncy castle, tug of war,a father's day card-making stall, kids' football tournaments, children's games and a plants swap and clothes swap stall. Preston Park Fire Station will also be bringing a fire engine in the afternoon. A first Aider is also sought rather urgently, if you can help as a Qualified First Aider then please contact Sam Hart at samhart2@btinternet.com

Other events include local stalls and events run by various community groups such as the local Scouts Group and Amaze in Brighton, for children with Disabilities and Special Needs.
