Breeze up to the Downs

Every Sunday the 79 stops at Fiveways, outside Fiveways Grill, and breezes up to the Downs, to the lovely Ditchling Beacon. Running from the Pavillion, it costs just £2.50 with a saver ticket return for an adult, and each adult can take up to 2 children free.

So give the car a day off on Sunday and let the 79 take you up to Ditchling Beacon. A walk back across the Downland and through Stanmer Park is a fantastic walk back to Fiveways.

The 77 will take you to Devils Dyke from the Pier and the 78 from Old Steine will take you right through Stanmer Park.
