Cafes in Fiveways, Brighton

Fiveways lends itself well to street cafés due its wide pavements and shop fronts set well back from the roadside. There are a number of outlets providing opportunities to stop for a coffee when shopping, and the local parks also provide several cafés amongst them, in Blakers Park and Preston Park, as well nearby bars providing refreshments.

Almost uniquely, Fiveways has not succumbed to the homogonised café cultures adopted elsewhere in a bid to mimic Italian and French culture, the cafés around Fiveways feel very much part of the fabric of local life and have been absorbed into the most natural local environment, as if they have been here for the past 100 years. The coffees damned fine too!
